Alpha

WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha is a chance to explore and question the meaning of life. Over a series of eight weeks, you’ll find out about the basics of the Christian faith. Each session begins with a meal, where we have an opportunity to get to know one another and build relationships. Afterwards, we listen to a topic on some aspect of the Christian faith, like “Who is Jesus?” and “How Does God Guide Us?”, presented by a variety of interesting and engaging speakers in locations across the world. Then we end our time together in round-table conversations about what we have just heard, in an open and friendly atmosphere. It’s fun, relaxed and free, and you can ask anything you like.

WHO IS ALPHA FOR?

Alpha is for anyone who thinks there may be more to life than meets the eye. People from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints are welcome to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus and more. Some people want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that really changes life. Others come for the close, lasting friendships that are built during the Alpha course. Some guests will have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. Everyone is welcome.
